…His word was in my heart like a burning fire shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. Jeremiah 20:9

This is a love story written by our faithful Creator, told through the perspective of two un-expecting sinners. Having met in unconventional circumstances, and conquering the hurdles those circumstances encompass, has uncovered an undeniable existence of a strength exceeding our own.

Recognizing this strength in our weakness has unveiled a greater purpose in our hearts for this sacred marriage. It is through this divine union we hope to awaken souls to the power of Gods great love. It is our hope that the uniqueness of our love story, combined with our victories in our marital obstacle course, will encourage and inspire readers to be “more than conquerors through Him who loved (loves) us” (Romans 8:37) in their own love story.

With our feet firmly planted on the firm foundation, Christ our Solid Rock, we commit our marriage, our story, and our lives to the glory of Him alone. In Christ we fell in love, in Christ we shall remain. Inflamed within our hearts is a desire to see revival and unbreakable family bonds, through the power, grace, and knowledge of our Lord, Jesus Christ. We hope you are able to witness His great faithfulness in our lives, as well as your own.

We also burn with a passion to expose the failures, and systematic abuses of power surrounding todays “justice” system. Enduring our current and temporary circumstances allows us a first-hand perspective of the injustices occurring daily in the penitentiary system in this country.

It is our mission, and our delight, to “Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.” (Hebrew 13:3) We refuse to dismissĀ or abandon theseĀ souls. We will not forget those who the world has labeled, but whom our Father loves.

It is our goal to awaken both revival and reform.

May the Lord add blessings unto the readers of these messages.

We are the Rouses. This is the house we have built.
